ABOUT THE MALE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Mission
The mission of the Male Leadership Academy of Charlotte is to provide a holistic, high-quality education that develops young men into world-class leaders.
 
Vision
The Male Leadership Academy of Charlotte will be reorganized as a model institution for the education of boys from K-6th grade
 
School Colors
The colors of the Male Leadership Academy of Charlotte are marron and gold.  Maroon symbolizes the warrior spirit who is patient in battle and is victorious, because of his persistence and endurance.  The color maroon represents courage, bravery, heroism, and strength.  Gold symbolizes the divine power of the King of Kings who gives wisdom and the authority to get wealth.  Thus, the color gold represent spiritual reward, richness, refinement, enhancement, and determination.

School Motto
Agere Sequitur Credere - Action Follow Belief
At the Male Leadership Academy, we believe that "Being Precedes Doing", therefore, every boy will act according to what he believes himself to be, for "Agere Sequitur Credere." 
 
School Creed
We are Male Leadership Academy men; created in the image and likeness of God.  we are called and committed to be leaders in all we do.  We will develop ourselves and deploy ourselves in service to our families, our faith, and to the global community of man.
 
Foundational Pillars
  • Christ-Centered: The MLAC is a Christ-centered school.  We will demonstrate that we honor Christ as Lord by our words and deeds
  • Leadership: The MLAC understands that the servant-leader is servant first and that leadership is earned.  Therefore, we will lead by example.
  • Scholarship: The MLAC holds firmly to high and uncompromising academic standards for all its scholars.
  • Service: The MLAC seeks to impact its community by developing a culture of service.
  • Stewardship: The MLAC recognizes that each scholar has the responsibility of being a good manager and steward over his God-given gifts, talents, and abilities.
